Team RoboNova
A robotics program for students ready to design, code, and compete
RoboNova is YRES's advanced robotics pathway. It is designed for students aged 9–14 who want to develop skills in robot design, coding, testing, strategy, and teamwork through guided instruction and hands-on practice.
Each Saturday session introduces and builds on core skills progressively — no prior experience is required. At the same time, the program challenges students to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate in a competition-inspired environment that builds real confidence.
The season concludes with a Presentation & Celebration Day where students showcase their work to parents and compete in a fun, structured format. Because RoboNova is a progressive experience, students are expected to commit to the full season. Enrolment is not available once the season has started.
Full season commitment required. Team RoboNova is a progressive 4-week learning journey. Students must register before the season begins — late enrolment is not permitted. Students under age 9 will continue with our other Lego Robotics program offerings, such as Lego Weekend Camp, and our specialty summer camp .
