Youth Workshops
Here is an overview of Youth Workshops we will be holding at Aaniin Community Centre this year, targeted towards students from Grades 6 to 12 and their parents.
For those interested in attending but unable to make it in person, we are also offering virtual options.
Please check back frequently as we will be adding more workshops for Fall and Winter 2024 to the list!
In-Person Option: Aaniin Community Centre 5665 14th Ave, Markham, L3S 3K5
Virtual Option: Zoom Meetings (Links to be sent via email at least one day prior)
We have weekly workshops at the Aaniin Community Centre, to help youths navigate high school and plan for post-secondary paths.
To make the workshop more accessible, we are offering the program virtually through Zoom. Registrants will have the option to choose between attending the event virtually or in-person!

Supporting Families with the transition from Grade 8 to High School
In this session, tips to help families with the transition from Grade 8 to Grade 9 will be shared and it will aim to provide an overview of the support available, while also including an overview of the variety of programs that are offered in YRDSB secondary schools.
