We offer a diverse range of activities including sports, recreational arts and crafts, and S.T.E.M. for children 5-11 years old.

We'll have a special visit from a firefighter and learn about fire safety!

Tallest Tower Challenge
How tall can you build? Campers will work in teams to construct the tallest tower possible using limited materials.

A police officer will visit camp today to talk about community safety and their role in helping people.

Egg Drop Challenge
Teams will design protective structures to keep an egg from breaking when dropped.

Campers will work together, plan strategies, and race across the field in an effort to protect their flag and capture the enemy flag!

Campers will design and build bridges to test which could hold the most weight.

Today a scientist wil visit our camp to share their passion for discovery and experimentation!

Campers will explore colourful science using Skittles and water. They will observe patterns and reactions while learning about diffusion.

YRES Summer Camp runs from July 2 – Aug 21, 2026 and regular hours are 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Confirmed locations:
More locations in Thornhill and South Markham/North Scarborough are coming soon.
Extended Care (8:00 – 8:30 am and 4:00 – 5:00 pm) is available at an additional cost at Our Lady Help of Christians CES (North Richmond Hill), Stonebridge PS (North Markham), and St. Edward CS (East Markham), with more locations to be announced.
Camp is first-come, first-served. Should a location be at maximum capacity, camp applicants will be placed on the waitlist.
Campers must be 5–11 years old during the camp (July 2 to Aug 14). If a child’s birthday is before July 2, 2013 or after Aug 14, 2021, they are outside the eligible age range and we’re unable to accommodate at this time.

In the event that government regulations do not allow camps to open or shut down camps mid-season due to COVID-19, affected registrants will be provided with a full refund.
As an NPO, e-Transfer is our default and preferred method. You can e-transfer the fee to info@yorkeducation.ca after you review the confirmation/quote email. If you prefer to pay by credit card, you can request a payment link (a processing fee for credit card payment will apply).
You may come in-person and our staff will assist you. However please note that we do not accept cash payment. If you need assistance in-person, please book an appointment through email at info@yorkeducation.ca.
Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) is an incredible program that has the goal of offering childcare for a low average cost. However this program is only applicable for daycare centres and unfortunately we are not part of the childcare system. The Before and After Care program we offer is supplementary to the camp programs we offer and can be purchased for parents that require an early drop off or late pick up.
No. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or placement. YRES reviews all applications based on program capacity, participant history, safety considerations, and overall suitability for the camp environment. YRES reserves the right to decline or not approve an application at its discretion.

Yes, we offer a $50 coupon for each family you refer. Referrals will be processed after the registration period closes.
However, there is no sibling discount, as our rates are already highly affordable.

Our camp food is prepared and managed by a professional food vendor, ensuring freshness and quality. Meals, including healthy snacks and lunches, are delivered daily.
All food options are reviewed by a nutritionist to ensure they meet health and dietary standards.

They are separated by ages, unless you make a specific request and the camp director will review/approve your request.

The student will have a free laptop and relevant materials. Approx. 1.5-2hr a day.
