Nice to meet you! My name is Nova, and I’m the mascot for YRES! I’m a bighorn sheep who loves to learn everything from languages, to STEAM. I’m always ready for an adventure! Let’s meet next year at camp!

Nova had lived many years in Spark, a vibrant planet full of energy and learning. Through countless lifetimes, Nova gathered wisdom, kindness, and a passion for helping others grow.

Nova's Arrival on Earth

Nova traveled from Spark to Earth, choosing York Education as their new home. Nova's mission was to inspire students and educators, bringing Spark’s creativity and energy to the real world.

2021
Nova Joins the YRES Community

 

Nova began appearing at York Education events and activities, spreading encouragement and community spirit among students, staff, and families.

Present Day
Nova's Ongoing Impact

Nova became not just a mascot but a trusted friend and motivator for the York Education community, supporting learners on their educational journeys. Through programs like LEGO Robotics and the Volunteer Success initiative, Nova helped youth build confidence, and discover the joy of learning.
