YRES at 2025 Business Excellence Awards Gala
We were truly honoured to attend the 2025 Business Excellence Awards Gala, hosted by the Markham Board of Trade, and to be recognized once again as a Finalist in Community Relations & Cultural Enrichment—for the second year in a row.
Being in a room filled with so many inspiring leaders, organizations, and change makers was incredibly humbling. This recognition is not just an award, it is a reflection of the dedication, compassion, and countless hours our staff and volunteers pour into serving the community every single day. From youth programs and education initiatives to cultural engagement and community outreach, this achievement belongs to every person who has contributed their time, energy, and heart to our mission. Attending the gala gave us a meaningful moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and the powerful impact that collective effort can create.
A huge thank you to Markham Board of Trade, Isa Lee, Markham Dog Alliance, Chris Collucci, Frank Scarpitti, and @volunteerconnectyrfor your continuous support and dedication to our mission.
We are deeply grateful to the Markham Board of Trade for this continued recognition and for celebrating the organizations that make community impact a priority. This milestone only strengthens our commitment to keep building, serving, and uplifting, together.
