YRES at 2025 Santa Parade

We were truly honoured to attend the 2025 Business Excellence Awards Gala, hosted by the Markham Board of Trade, and to be recognized once again as a Finalist in Community Relations & Cultural Enrichment—for the second year in a row.

At the heart of this celebration were our 14 incredible YRES volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to ensuring everything ran smoothly. From handing out small gifts to walking the parade route, each volunteer played a meaningful role in spreading cheer throughout the day. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and kindness truly lit up the event — even in the chilly weather!

We also want to extend a warm thank you to the City of Markham for hosting such a vibrant and well-organized parade. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of an event that brings so much joy to the community.
