Here is an overview of Youth Workshops we will be holding at Aaniin Community Centre this year, targeted towards students from Grades 6 to 12 and their parents.
For those interested in attending but unable to make it in person, we are also offering virtual options.

About our Youth Workshops
Informational Video
Our workshops help youths navigate high school and plan for post-secondary paths! To make the workshop more accessible, we offer the workshops both in person and virtually!

Course Selection and Uni Applications
In this session, we will go through how to find the program requirements and prepare for university applications. All high school students and parents are welcome to attend!
Resumes, Cover Letters & Interview Prep
Learn how to craft great resumes, cover letters and improve your interview skills. Arm yourself with the tools needed to get part-time opportunities.
Middle school to High school Transition
This workshop will teach effective strategies to successfully manage workload in high school to reach student’s academic goals and make the transition less challenging!
Study Skills for High School Success
This workshop will allow high school students to uncover study techniques proven to enhance learning and improve academic performance.
