York Region Educational Services was honoured to attend the 2025 Women in Business Garden of Growth Women’s Symposium, hosted by the Richmond Hill Board of Trade. It was an inspiring day filled with meaningful conversations about growth, leadership, and the journeys that shape women in business.

We heard powerful insights from keynote speakers Amy Siu and Dr. Michelle Xiu, as well as panelists Angela Rosa, Usha Srinivasan, and Dr. Guang Ying Mo. Their experiences highlighted the importance of persistence, innovation, and community support.

We also connected with incredible women and small business owners who have built impactful careers and thriving businesses from the ground up. Engaging with them provided valuable learning opportunities and allowed us to show our support for their work.

York Region Educational Services looks forward to continuing our involvement in initiatives that support these same values. We are committed to helping people grow and build the skills they need to succeed. Through our educational programs, we provide the opportunity for youth to learn, be supported, and succeed. We look forward to carrying the lessons learned at this symposium into the work we do every day!
