We are delighted to share that YRES joined the Mayor’s Business Address & Luncheon 2025. This signature annual event brought together over 500 business and community leaders to network, exchange ideas, and hear from Mayor Frank Scarpitti about the exciting vision for Markham’s future.

It was an inspiring afternoon as we had the wonderful opportunity to speak with many business leaders and innovators across Markham, sharing ideas and stories about how we can work together to continue strengthening our community. We look forward to building meaningful partnerships that support local growth, innovation, and education.

Hearing Mayor Frank Scarpitti discuss the city’s exciting plans for 2026 was truly inspiring. From emerging opportunities in AI, energy, and construction technologies, to the anticipation of the Markham Indy arriving in August 2026 — the message was clear: Markham’s future is driven by innovation and collaboration.
