Yes! Tax is included in all of our pricing.

Is there another method of payment? That’s more secure?

As an NPO e-Transfer is our default and preferred method. However you can pay outstanding fees with a credit card from the link provided.

Can I come Sunday to pay by credit card?

Our weekend camp is at 250 Ferrier St, and we can take your payment when you stop by. Confirm your arrival time between 10am-3pm and we will inform the teacher on-site to greet you. Please book an appointment through email or phone.

Is there CWELCC funding for campers under 6yo?

CWELCC is an incredible program that has the goal of offering childcare for a low average cost. However this program is only applicable for daycare centres and unfortunately we are not part of the childcare system. The Before and After Care program we offer is supplementary to the camp programs we offer and can be purchased for parents that require an early drop off or late pick up.

Referrals

We offer a $50 coupon per one family referral. Referrals will be handled in June once registrations have closed.

What is the maximum amount of referral credit we are able to gain?

There is no maximum.

Can we purchase food on site?
We only offer snacks (bags of chips) for cash purchases.
Should I register my child if they're under 5 years old?

Usually, if the student is below 5 years of age, our camp director will need to do an assessment before the approval. Please sign up your child and we will contact you for the assessment.

Should I register my child for Junior or Senior camp if they turn 9 during the camp dates?

Excellent question–you can choose either one! This is a matter of personal preference based on which experience you think your child would enjoy more. Our Junior Camp will be more focussed on social activities and building relationships with new friends, whereas our Senior Camp will involve social games but place more emphasis on academic materials.

Are the schedule & activities different between Junior Camp and Senior Camp?

In short, yes. We offer different activities for the different age groups. For instance the younger campers will have a focus towards social activities and building relationships with new friends, they will also have workbooks and other course material that are appropriate for their skill level. The older groups focus more on having an enhanced camp experience which involves social games but a larger focus on the materials they are learning in school. The older group will have more opportunities to explore topics they have learned/ will learn in a collaborative way to not only help develop soft and social skills but to have them prepared for the upcoming school year as well.

In terms of schedule there might be small differences depending on if it is an event day or not. Overall, we will have similar lunch and snack breaks to allow younger campers to socialize with the older group in case there is a sibling or friend they wish to eat with. This allows them to enjoy the work they do in camp knowing they can reconnect with their familiar relationships for lunch or snack.
