YRES successfully hosted its first volunteer fair on October 19, 2024 in partnership with Ignite Fair and Volunteer Connect York Region. The three-hour event featured 20 tabling organizations and welcomed over 200 attendees! It was inspiring to see youth engage with the various tabling organizations, learning about ways to give back to the community, how to put their strengths to use, and career industries to explore. 

From the attendance giveaway gifts to snack bites for munching on, we are grateful to all the sponsors and donors that helped make this event an enjoyable experience. Our appreciation also goes out to the tabling organizations that took time out of their schedules to engage with York Region youths.
