During these past 2 months, what were your major duties and how did they relate to your academic studies?

My main focus has been on producing company-related flyers, newsletters, and blogs, but as time has gone on, I now send out Redbook collages and media videos weekly for promotional purposes, and I shoot and produce more fun summer camp promotional videos to get the company more visible on Redbook, which is also my calling card, and I use media tools to help the company reach a larger audience and build community loyalty.

In May you were asked to envision how YRES would contribute to your growth. How has your time here contributed to your personal and professional development? Were there any unexpected challenges or benefits?

I think this will give me a better understanding of social media, a deeper experience, more experience in accounting, and other social skills that will be relevant to my future work. I will use Canvas or Imovie to add music to videos to attract more viewers to demonstrate my abilities and make the company better. I will also guide the children during the summer camp on the actions they need to take to solve the difficulties they encounter, and teach some Chinese and English words to exercise my prediction and master new skills.

Describe 2-3 projects from your co-op that you're particularly proud of, and how they have helped you grow academically and/or professionally?

This month, I worked with 4 of my fellow co-ops to produce a media video to promote the summer camp that YRES is hosting. They recommended simpler video software to me when making the video, and took pictures with me. We screened the pictures and made interesting titles together during the working time. The video is 2 minutes long and has received 14 likes so far.

I also made a 10-page briefing on health and safety with my classmates. It is suitable for using stick figures to express the benefits of caring for hygiene, and it also uses interesting games to attract students and parents. My teammates also checked my briefing and made suggestions for revisions.
